Terms of service

These terms apply to thesecguy.com and to the paid course AI Security Engineer (the "course"). The Sec Guy is a brand of Repzey Health Private Limited, a company registered in India ("we", "us"). By buying the course or using this site you agree to these terms.

1. What you buy

A personal licence to access the course online at thesecguy.com/learn: lessons, videos, labs, quizzes and PDF decks, released in stages on the schedule shown on the course page. Access starts immediately after payment and lasts for as long as we offer the course, including updates to its content. If we ever stop offering the course, we will give at least 90 days' notice by email so you can finish and download your PDFs and certificate.

Release dates are our plan, not a promise to the day. If a module slips by more than 30 days, we will tell you by email.

2. Your licence

• The course is for one person. Do not share your account, sign-in codes or course material.
• You may use what you learn at work and in your own projects. You may not copy, record, download, resell, re-upload or publish the videos, lessons or decks, in whole or in part.
• Your account can be signed in on up to 3 devices. Videos play only on thesecguy.com; PDFs and the video player carry your email address so shared copies can be traced.
• If we find sharing, scraping or recording, we may suspend or end access without a refund.

3. Authorised testing only

The labs teach attacks so you can defend against them. Only run them against systems you own or are explicitly allowed to test, such as the apps on your own laptop and your own AWS, Azure or Google Cloud account. You are responsible for any cloud costs in your own accounts; every cloud lab shows its cost and a tear-down step.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card or bank details. Prices are shown in Indian rupees (INR) or US dollars (USD) before you pay. Your bank or card issuer may add currency-conversion or international-transaction charges; those are outside our control.

5. Refunds

See the refund policy. In short: a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have completed less than 20% of the course.

6. Certificate

The certificate is a certificate of completion issued by The Sec Guy. It is not an accredited professional certification and is not endorsed by any vendor or standards body.

7. No guarantees

The course is educational. We work hard to keep it accurate and cite primary sources, but security changes fast and we cannot guarantee that every detail stays correct, or that you will get a job, pass an exam or prevent every attack. Report mistakes to [email protected]; we fix confirmed errors and credit the reporter on the errata page.

AWS, Amazon Bedrock and other names are trademarks of their owners. The Sec Guy is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by AWS, Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, OWASP or MITRE.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything related to the course is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Indian consumer protection law or the consumer law of your country that cannot be excluded.

9. Privacy

How we handle your data is explained in the privacy policy.

10. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and changes that reduce your rights will not apply to a purchase you have already made. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have jurisdiction.
